When it turns red, go into cover for a few seconds to make it recharge.
It absorbs every type of damage, even falling damage. This armor is extremely powerful and makes you invincible until it starts flashing red. Secret Shield-Weaver outfit/armorįind all five Power Cells and take them to the Ancient Armory bunker (marked as a side quest) to unlock the Shield-Weaver outfit/armor and "Got The Shield-Weaver Outfit" trophy. You also get four trophies for completing all the Hunting Ground Trials with Blazing Sun Marks. These weapons cannot be bought from merchants. Open them in your inventory to get the following three weapons: Lodge Blast Sling (shoots powerful explosives for high damage), Lodge Ropecaster (strongest ropecaster in the game with the most tear attribute), and Lodge War Bow (elemental bow that shoots corruption, shock, and freeze arrows). Give the Sun Marks to Aidaba in the Hunter's Lodge of Meridian to get three treasure boxes. Get all 15 Blazing Sun Marks (gold medals) across the five Hunting Grounds Trials. You can get approximately 30,000 XP and 3,000 shards every ten minutes using this exploit. Repeat this process as many times as desired. You will then spawn back at the campfire and Thunderjaw will have respawned. This is quicker than fast traveling back and forth. Then, jump off the edge of the map to kill yourself. After collecting the loot, run back to the campfire you spawned at and press Triangle to quick save the game.

You will get lots of XP, shards, and very rare (purple) mods for killing it. Once there is no ammo remaining, grab the second Disc Launcher and shoot it at the Thunderjaw to destroy it. Once you have knocked both components off, grab the nearby Disc Launcher and keep shooting it at the Thunderjaw. You only need one arrow for the component on each side. Once you spawn, use your Tearblast arrows to easily destroy the components on the Thunderjaw. Then, go to the campfire immediately west of the Thunderjaw site.
Easy XP, shards, and very rare modsįirst, get the "Golden Fast Travel Pack" for infinite fast travel. This same exploit can also be used in other areas of the game where enemies always drop very rare items. Kill the Scrappers to get the very rare mods again. Continue the game after quitting, and return to the Scrapper site. Use the campfire to save, then quit the game. These mods are useful early in the game, allowing Aloy to become very powerful in the early game. You can also sell these mods to get money to buy better weapons.

Loot the Scrappers to get two very rare mods (+42-43% Corruption Coil and +38% Handling Coil, +37% Damage Coil, or +35% Shock Coil) that can be used to upgrade your weapons and armor. While at the Scrapper site, hide and kill the Scrappers while remaining stealthy. This is the same area where Aloy saved the man that fell when she was young. Once you have access to the "A Seeker At The Gates" main quest (earliest you can reach this area), travel northwest to reach the campfire, then proceed west (follow the river) to reach the Scrapper site.
Go to the Scrapper site located west of the campfire during the "A Seeker At The Gates" main quest.
